How Many Mats Do I Need?

Each 600mm × 600mm tile covers approximately 0.36m². Divide the total floor area in square metres by 0.36 to estimate the number of tiles required.

Product Specifications

Simple Interlocking Installation

The puzzle-style edges connect securely to create a continuous floor without requiring glue or permanent fixings. Begin in one corner of the space and connect each tile until the required area has been covered.

Mats can be carefully trimmed using a sharp utility knife and a suitable straight edge, allowing them to fit around walls, doorways, equipment and other obstacles. Always measure carefully and cut on a protected surface.

Before Installation

Allow the mats to rest flat at room temperature before installation. Make sure the existing floor is solid, level, clean and completely dry. Remove any dust, dirt, grease or sharp objects that could affect the finished surface.

EVA foam can expand and contract slightly as temperatures change. When covering an entire room, leave a small expansion gap around the perimeter and avoid fitting the mats tightly against every wall.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Sweep or vacuum the surface regularly to remove loose dirt. For general cleaning, wipe the mats using a damp cloth or mop with a mild cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaning products and excessive amounts of water.

Important Usage Information

EVA mats are lightweight, cushioned floor tiles designed for general domestic, fitness and utility use. They are not intended as specialist commercial gym flooring or as protection against repeatedly dropping very heavy weights.

Heavy equipment, narrow equipment feet, vehicle wheels, kickstands and other concentrated loads may leave impressions in the foam. Suitable protective boards or equipment mats should be placed beneath particularly heavy items.

When used inside vans, the mats should be fitted onto a clean, level and secure floor. They are intended to provide light-duty floor protection and additional comfort rather than to secure cargo. All equipment and loads must be restrained separately.

Product colour and surface texture may vary slightly between production batches. If you are covering a large area or extending an existing installation, we recommend purchasing the full quantity together wherever possible.
